IEEE MeAVeAS 2027 will have the following awards, which will be announced and bestowed at the Award Ceremony.

This award recognizes the most outstanding paper presented at IEEE MetroAeroSpace 2026.

The award recognises and promotes scientific and communication excellence at the Conference, fostering the quality of research presented orally at IEEE MeAVeAS 2027.

The winner will be entitled to:

• a signed official Award Certificate;
• the announcement of the achievement on a special conference webpage.

Basis for Judging: A selection committee will be appointed by the Awards Committee Chairs. Presentations are judged based on originality and scientific relevance, presentation quality and clarity of delivery, methodological rigour, potential impact and future perspectives.

Presentation: The award will be announced and presented at the Award Ceremony.

Eligibility: All presenting authors of contributions accepted for the current edition of the Conference are considered for the award following self-nomination at the time of abstract submission.

This award recognizes the most outstanding presentation presented by a young researcher (younger than 35 years in age at the time of opening of the abstract submission) at IEEE MeAVeAS 2027.

The winner will be entitled to:

• a signed official Award Certificate;
• free registration to the following edition of the Conference.
• the announcement of the achievement on a special conference webpage.

Basis for Judging: A selection committee will be appointed by the Awards Committee Chairs. Presentations are judged based on originality and scientific relevance, presentation quality and clarity of delivery, methodological rigour, potential impact of the research and future perspectives.

Presentation: The award will be announced and presented at the Award Ceremony.

Eligibility: Self-nomination is required upon submission of the abstract.

This award recognizes the most outstanding presentation presented by a woman at IEEE MeAVeAS 2027.

Presentations are judged based on originality and scientific relevance, methodological rigour, graphic quality, readability and ability to convey information visually, potential impact of the research and future perspectives.

This award recognises and promotes research with a strong applied and industrial orientation presented at the Conference, fostering technology transfer and innovation.

The winner will be entitled to:
